All goods ordered are subject to stock availability and acceptance of your order by Pulsar. Credit card orders are not accepted, Pulsar are under no obligation to fulfil an order and accepts no responsibility for loss caused should the item become out of stock or no longer available or for a late delivery. If we are unable to fulfil your order for whatever reason you will be notified by email or telephone.
It is not possible to reserve any of the products featured on our website or place a deposit unless an application is sent by email and is accepted by ourselves in writing.
All prices are in Pounds Sterling and are subject to VAT at 17.5% plus delivery at the rates shown at the checkout. The amount charged will be in Sterling currency. Goods sent outside of the EU are not subject to VAT and although VAT may be included in the price at the checkout, it will be deducted when payment is taken.
Pulsar sells different grades of products, all of which are supplied with warranty. If product grade is important to you please clarify the product grade prior to placing an order with your sales representitive
Carriage charges
Carriage charges are shown and added to your bill at the checkout. These charges are based upon the size, weight, number of items and delivery method. Charges vary from £10+VAT for small items and from £20+Vat for items such as portables and other equipment requiring insured courier delivery. Pulsar reserves the right to amend these charges should extra costs incur. You will, however, be notified by email or phone prior to any charge being taken and goods being despatched.
Goods are despatched via overnight courier and should be delivered within two working days (mainland UK only) upon receipt of cleared funds, credit card authorisation etc.
Distance Selling Regulations /Cancellation
Pulsar are able to supply both the public sector and Businesses ( corporate ) sector but we do not sell
or service the home or consumer market, and our terms and conditions reflect this.
Cancellation of Your Order
Cancellations must be made by email, fax or by contacting our Customer Services Department on 01204 797 612.Or by e-mail on sales@pulsaronline.co.uk
Returned items must be returned carriage paid within 48 hours of notification. They must be complete, unused and in the exact same condition as originally shipped. Where goods have been returned in a used condition, a 20% restocking fee will apply.
All goods will be refunded within 30 days of your notification of cancellation of your order. All goods are sold in accordance with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
Warranties
Unless otherwise stated in the product description, all goods are supplied with a one year warranty or longer if stated by the manufacturer. This may vary between manufacturers. Where there is a manufacturer's warranty set out in the product documentation, the warranty will remain with the manufacturer and therefore the purchaser will deal directly with the manufacturer or one of their authorised service centres. Pulsar accepts no responsibility for any losses incurred when dealing with the manufacturer in accordance with their warranty terms.
Should the product carry a Return To Pulsar warranty then the product may be returned to ourselves in accordance with our RMA Procedures set out below.
Return of Faulty Goods
Should your goods develop a fault within the first seven days of purchase, Pulsar will repair or replace the defective item. Advance replacements will not be issued. Should the defective item appear not to be defective then a fee of £40+VAT will be charged to cover admin and labour costs. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Reporting A Fault
To report a fault you must contact our Customer Care Department on 01204 797 612.Or by e-mail on sales@pulsaronline.co.uk you will then be issued with an RMA request form. Upon receipt of the completed and signed request form, we will issue a RMA number. Please ensure that the RMA number is clearly marked on the outer packaging without damaging the original box. Returned items should be sent together with a copy of your invoice to our warehouse, at the address on your invoice. It is the customer's responsibility that goods are returned in the condition they were sold in, as Pulsar accepts no liability for goods damaged or lost in transit. We regret our Returns Department cannot accept any goods returned without a valid RMA. Only the fault described on the RMA will be repaired under warranty. Pulsar accepts no liability for loss of data or any inconvenience caused while returned goods are being repaired. Goods will only be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Pulsar. Please return all goods fully complete in their original packaging with the RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the packaging but not on the original box. We aim to repair goods within 3 to 7 days, however some repairs may take up to 28 days.
The warranty does not apply to items which are subject to wear & tear eg. printer cartridges, batteries etc. and other faults caused by accident, neglect and misuse eg. broken hinges, screen catches and smashed screens or any broken plastic parts. Unless goods sold are supplied with a manufacturer's international warranty, any warranties supplied by Pulsar do not apply outside mainland UK.
Returning Software
Software cannot be returned to Pulsar computing for a refund unless it is unopened and in its original packaging.
We have to follow this policy because the return of opened software could lead to a possible breach of the Copyright, Designs and Patent Act (CDPA) 1988.
If you have purchased software and the media is physically faulty, then at the request of the manufacturers, we suggest that you contact the manufacturers/publishers.
